The Next UZ Star will be determined by Votes on The Next UZ Star Survey, Votes at The UZ Request Line and Scores from a panel of 6 Secret UZ Judges.
The Next UZ Star will be determined by Votes on The Next UZ Star Survey, Votes at The UZ Request Line and Scores from a panel of 6 Secret UZ Judges.
Judges will view each contestants performance and Interview then score them in three category's: Commercial Appeal, Raw Talent and Uniqueness from 0 - 10, 10 being best. Each category's scores will be added to the votes for each round along with request line votes.
The final count each round will determine the artist to be eliminated unless that artist receives a veto from elimination by one of the Judges. Then the Artist gets another week to try to round up votes. Each of the 6 Judges have Veto of Elimination powers one time. That makes 6 possible veto's over the course of the competition. On the final week of the competition veto powers if not used already are not eligible.
There will be 10 Voting Rounds for the competition the first being the longest, about 3 weeks, possibly eliminating 2 contestants. All the rest of the rounds will be one week, possibly eliminating 1 contestant each week.
The Next UZ Star Survey will be zeroed out each Monday Starting November 1st with the results announced later each week on UZ. Contestants being eliminated will still be shown on the survey until the results are announced on UZ.
Anyone can vote on the Survey once every 24 hours and vote on the UZ Request Line once every 24 hours. Judges scores will be added at the start of each round except for the 1st Round. 1st Round Judges Scores will be added when we receive them.
